  • Be transparent about your services, availability, and pricing
  • Honor your commitments and agreements
  • Communicate clearly about expectations and limitations

Be Safe

  • Follow our safety guidelines for online and offline interactions
  • Report suspicious behavior, spam, or safety concerns immediately
  • Trust your instincts—if something feels off, don't proceed
  • Respect others' privacy and personal boundaries

For Homeowners

Best Practices

  • Be clear about your needs, expectations, and timeline
  • Respond promptly to student inquiries
  • Provide fair compensation for services rendered
  • Communicate respectfully, even if a student isn't the right fit
  • Provide constructive feedback when appropriate

What Not to Do

  • Don't spam students with multiple messages
  • Don't request services outside a student's stated capabilities
  • Don't pressure students to work outside their availability
  • Don't share false or misleading information
  • Don't engage in harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior

For Students

Best Practices

  • Keep your profile accurate and up-to-date
  • Respond to homeowner inquiries in a timely manner
  • Be clear about your services, pricing, and availability
  • Show up on time and complete work as agreed
  • Communicate proactively if issues arise
  • Maintain professionalism in all interactions

What Not to Do

  • Don't misrepresent your skills, experience, or qualifications
  • Don't spam homeowners with unsolicited messages
  • Don't cancel commitments without reasonable notice
  • Don't engage in harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior
  • Don't use the platform for purposes other than legitimate service offerings
  • Don't share false or misleading information

Prohibited Content & Behavior

The following are strictly prohibited on our platform:

  • Spam: Sending unsolicited, repetitive, or automated messages
  • Fraud: Misrepresenting identity, services, or qualifications
  • Harassment: Bullying, intimidation, or threatening behavior
  • Discrimination: Discriminating based on race, religion, gender, age, or other protected characteristics
  • Illegal Activities: Using the platform for any illegal purpose
  • Inappropriate Content: Sharing offensive, explicit, or inappropriate material
  • Impersonation: Pretending to be someone else or using someone else's account
  • Platform Manipulation: Attempting to game the system, manipulate search results, or violate platform integrity

Consequences of Violations

Violations of these guidelines may result in:

  • Warning notifications
  • Temporary suspension of account features
  • Permanent account suspension or termination
  • Legal action in cases of illegal activity

We reserve the right to take appropriate action based on the severity and nature of the violation.
